Paramount
Paramount Pictures is using Sun's™ x64 (x86 64-bit) servers (Sun Fire™ V20z and Sun Fire™ V40z), to render its new animated feature, Barnyard. Paramount will also use Sun's storage products-the Sun StorEdge™ 3510 and Sun StorEdge™ 3511-to manage its storage files. The artistic demands of the film required systems with the performance capabilities inherent in the Sun products. With Sun, Paramount is confident it can supply its artists with a high-quality render farm that will allow them to meet the production schedule and produce a graphically stunning CGI feature film.
